Global Peace Film Festival
The Global Peace Film Festival, founded in 2003, is an annual festival held each September in Orlando, Florida. The site integrates with Eventive, an online event ticketing system. I manage that integration and build the film listings and schedule each year.
In addition to the live events in Orlando, the fest also holds a free online-only film festival, called “Free for All Shorts.” This sub-site uses a custom-built database to make management of the films a much easier job. This year, there are more than 30 films in the program.
Seacoast Career Planning
Seacoast Career Planning’s website allows career counselor Andrea St. Jean, MS, to not only connect with clients and potential clients, but also houses numerous links to career and job-hunting references. In addition, the site also allows potential clients to do a self-assessment inventory that helps focus further discussion.
RHS Alumni Association
RHSAlumni.org is the web home for alumni of Rogers High School in Newport, RI. The site provides information on alumni happenings and events. I recently updated the site, transforming it from a static, hand-coded site that was difficult to update to one using WordPress to manage content.
Luke Randall
The late Rhode Island artist Luke Randall wanted a site he could manage himself easily. This custom WordPress solution allowed Luke the ability to add his paintings, photos of commissioned decorative works and videos of his electronic constructions. The site is currently being maintained by his family.
